Current Vacancies
SportCheer Scotland is the national governing body for cheerleading in Scotland, existing to represent, champion, and develop our sport. We are looking for individuals to join our Board of Directors with strong demonstrable skills in key areas with a clear focus on the values and culture of Scottish cheerleading. As director you will be vital to the continuing progression of SportCheer Scotland, helping to drive forward strategic objectives and contributing a fresh perspective to operations.
The SportCheer Scotland Board are seeking to appoint multiple positions to the Board of Directors as well as a member of our National Team committee. Treasurer
The Treasurer will be responsible overseeing the financial management of SportCheer Scotland and regularly reporting on financial performance to the Board. The treasurer will work with SportCheer Scotland’s accountant to provide relevant information for external financial reporting and the tax affairs of the organisation, managing submissions to Companies House and HMRC.
Vice President
The SportCheer Scotland Vice President will be a member of the SCS Board of Directors. The Vice President is responsible for assisting the President with the general supervision of the affairs and operations of SportCheer Scotland.
AllStar Director
The Allstar Director of the SportCheer Scotland Board will represent the Allstar clubs involved in Scottish Cheer and Performance Cheer. They will look to develop relationships with clubs, event producers, and any other relevant partners to support the development of Allstar cheerleading clubs in Scotland. Directors may also chair sub committees of the SportCheer Scotland Board to work effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders. All sub committees with be overseen by the SportCheer Scotland’s Vice President.
At-Large Director
At-Large Directors of the SportCheer Scotland Board will assist in the development of Scottish Cheer and Performance Cheer. They may assist in a variety of areas dependent upon their knowledge and skills. At-Large Directors may also take part in sub committees of the SportCheer Scotland Board.
