Your National Team
SportCheer Scotland strives to provide opportunities for the Scottish cheerleading community to be involved in our National Team. This means we are constantly evolving to make sure everyone has the opportunity to be involved and we can best represent our country on the world stage. For our 2026-27 national team, athletes must meet the following age criteria:
Youth - born 2012 - 2015
Junior - born 2008 - 2012
Senior - born 2011 or before
Athlete Tryouts
Showcase your skills and passion at our athlete tryouts. Join us to represent Scotland on the national stage and elevate your cheerleading career. All athletes must be part of a SportCheer Scotland Member Club or have a current Travel Athlete Membership. Please note, unified teams will only be formed if there enough competent athletes to make a safe and viable team.
Coaching Roles
We are seeking dedicated coaches to lead our teams. Bring your expertise and inspire the next generation of cheerleaders in Scotland. All applicants must be a coach with a SportCheer Scotland Member Club or have an Associate Membership. You can sign up here.
Club Applications
Explore exciting opportunities to become part of the Scottish national cheerleading team. Clubs can apply for a bid to take there Allstar Team to ICU Championships and compete for our country as Team Scotland. Please note all applicants should be SportCheer Scotland Club Members. Performance Lead
Apply for our NEW for 2026 performance lead positions. Help shape routines and oversee the development, refinement, and competitive readiness of national team routines for the ICU World Cheerleading Championships.
