Meet the SportCheer Scotland Board
Lisa has over 20 years experience in the Allstar cheer and dance industry. She founded Champion Dance and Cheer in 2000 and is currently the program director. Lisa was a coach and manager of the first unified Team Scotland and was at the forefront of the development of the first unified team alongside Steve Walls.
After several years of Allstar teams representing Scotland internationally Lisa recreated a unified Team Scotland when she utilised her own teams bid to open it up to all the athletes in our country. This was instrumental in the creation of SportCheer Scotland following meetings with the international Cheer Union Lisa managed the creation of a working committee that ultimately lead to the organisation that we have today.
Lisa is delighted to continue to serve the Scottish Cheerleading community with an emphasis of progressing our sport at all levels to achieve Sports recognition and continued competitive and recreational success.
Jennifer is a cheerleader of 19 years and a member of the coaching team for 15 years. She has over 25 years of dance experience in multiple disciplines. She also works in Sports Development, and holds a BSc in Sports Coaching alongside numerous fitness qualifications. She has a particular interest in athlete development and aspires to develop cheerleading on a national level, not only for it to receive the recognition it deserves as a sport and athletes to perform on the world stage but also to support smaller, recreational teams that make a real difference to their community.
Victoria has held the position of Secretary since 2018. She is passionate about the development of Scottish cheerleading, and has been involved in the sport for 15 years. As an athlete she has represented Team Scotland at the ICU World and European Championships and attended the IASF World Championships. Victoria is a freelance cheerleading and tumbling coach and regularly works with programmes across West Scotland.
At Large Director
Emily joined the board in March 2021. She has been doing cheer and dance for 11 years in both Allstar and University and currently coach as ASCD in Elgin.
Regional Director - Highlands and Islands
Leanne has been the head and only coach at SSCD for 6 years now. She is passionate about equality in dance and cheerleading and pushing forward as a sport. Leanne was the Team Scotland Adaptive Abilities Coach for 2019/2020 and hopes to continue to support the national team moving forward.

Regional Director - Mid Scotland and Fife
Emma has been part of the cheerleading community for 25 years including cheering for Dundee ACE tribe, Manager and coach for Team Scotland All Girl Elite in 2019 and judging at various competitions across Scotland.
Regional Director - North East Scotland
Kendall joined the board in 2019 after being an athlete on Team Scotland All Girl Elite. She has been involved in the sport for over 20 years, cheering in both the USA and Scotland. She now coaches varsity cheer at Aberdeen University.
Regional Director - Lothian
Clare first got involved in cheerleading at university in 2006, competing in cheer and pom dance before qualifying as a coach in 2008. Clare ran her own competitive cheer teams, as well as teaching tumbling and pom, at a dance school in West Lothian for many years before deciding to focus solely on coaching her Open team - Spirit Athletics - and at Heriot Watt University alongside her day job. She joined the board in 2019 and currently serves on the Ethics Committee.
Regional Director - South Scotland
Leanne is the head coach of Infinity Allstars who are based in Prestwick. Infinity Allstars was established in 2009. She coached Team Scotland Junior Advanced in 2019. Leanne was also a Team Scotland athlete in 2007 & 2008. She is is passionate about the development of cheerleading in Scotland.
Regional Director - West Scotland
As well as being the President Lisa also is the Regional Director for West Scotland.
Throughout the years Lisa has worked in all areas of the Allstar industry from coaching to directing events as well as judging competitions and teaching camps internationally. Lisa is one of only two coaches qualified to examine potential coaches through the ICU after many years working as the only Scottish USASF director.
Regional Director - Central Scotland
Marguerite has been running a dance and cheerleading squad since 2003 with classes held in Kilsyth & Lennoxtown.
She was Team Scotland Manager for the 2019 season and had the privilege of meeting lots of coaches, athletes & parents from many different Scottish teams as well as working alongside the President & Vice President of SportCheer Scotland every week in a challenging, but hugely rewarding role.
Marguerite is very passionate about giving all athletes a chance, and feel that as a coach it is her duty to ensure all children, teens, young adults, get training & opportunities, no matter their skill set - whether “basic” or “elite” - it’s about giving them training, nurturing the skills they have & then seeing what they can bring to the team.
All athletes deserve chances to perform & make happy memories to take on through their lives so that they can always look back fondly on their time at her club.
